Bloomington makes the "100 least risky real estate markets" list for the US

The Least Risky Metro Areas for Real Estate

"It’s time for some better news on the real estate front. Values have dropped most everywhere, but there are some areas of the country that are reasonably stable and where risk factors are minimal. Risk components include foreclosure activity, property flipping, sales volatility, property history and site influencing factors can positively or negatively affect values in an area."
Bloomington made the list of the top 100 least risky metro areas in the nation. Ranked from 0 to 100 with 0 being no risk and 100 being extremely risky, bloomington came in at 1.79. The riskiest market in the US was Detroit coming in at 46.26.

  2. If you scroll down on the page in the link, there is a place to type in your zip code and as you move your cursor along the bottom of the graph, the numbers for your zip code will appear. No fee! Thanks for asking Tony.
